We cover all different types of buildings including municipal buildings, schools,  warehouses, and office buildings.

Our commercial division designs roofs for all building types. There are many different types of roofing systems that we work with on a regular basis. We typically work with the systems below for commercial buildings:

  • Flat roof systems
  • Steep Pitch roof systems
  • Multi-ply roof systems

Flat roofs are one of, if not the, most common types of commercial roofs. The single-ply roof type comes in two different types TPO and EPDM. We only use materials from top of the line manufacturers in Firestone and Carlisle. The EDPM and TPO are some of the more reliable materials to use for flat roofs.

Steep pitch roofs are used for both commercial and residential buildings. This is a more appealing type of roof because its design is pitched and also mimics the designs of residential roofs. Steep pitched roofs will last longer than a roof with a low slope because the solar rays give it less direct sunlight and the roof will drain water quicker than a flat roof system.

Multi-ply roofs are another common type of roof. This would include modified and traditional bitumen. Multi-ply systems are considered built-up roofs because they are built on a layer of asphalt with ply sheets over the roof. The good thing about this roof system is that if the top layer is damaged, the backup layers underneath provide another layer of protection.
